Highlighter Pink

Just a little something I wore while I was out shopping with my boyfriend today. I got some great stuff on sale at Zara in Philadelphia as well as some thigh high socks at American Apparel. I cannot believe how much I love this cardigan ! It was super cheap but seems to be promising for keeping me warm.


I saw a lot of great Spring looks today in the stores. It seems that florals are huge and coral is a very popular tone. I am sure I will see more next weekend when I hit up NYC during a visit to my aunt's in NY. My two year anniversary with Michael, my boyfriend, is nearing so we will be spending the day on Sunday in the city. I decided to pick something out at a vintage store for my present. I am hoping to score a fur of some sort. Fur is my vice, I am a huge animal lover but I cannot help but love the look of a great fur. If I can't find a fur maybe a bag ? Who knows.

Things I forgot to post in the past

Just a few pieces I thought you might like...the first one is my mother's jewelry box. She passed away in May of 2009 and I inherited everything of her's. I keep it on my vintage vanity and keep my jewelry inside. It has a music box inside and at times starts to play by itself. Just a little way she says hello in my opinion.

Snow, snow, snow

It won't stop snowing here in PA and much of the Northeast. I had off today because I teach and am currently going in late tomorrow but think we might have off again. I did absolutely nothing today but watch Sex and the City and hangout with the boyfriend, we even braved the snow for pina colada supplies. I am not much of a snow person and have a hard time wanting to look chic and stylish in the winter. The summer is just a much easier time to look cute. What are everyone's favorite winter pieces ? Or beauty products ?

Over the Knee Socks

Just got some new socks today that I had ordered on-line. I was unsure if I wanted them or not but had to have them once I saw how sexy and cheeky they are. I was also inspired by Carrie Bradshaw in the Sex and the City The Movie.

Catwalk Queen

I ordered a pair just like hers along with a black pair. They would be impossible to wear right now as it is incredibly cold in Pennsylvania right now, but maybe I can wear them once it warms up. I know some people are over the Carrie thing but I believe that Carrie Bradshaw was and still is one of the most important fashion icons of our time. Pat Fields is one of a kind.

I am hoping to come up with an outfit post soon with these socks. So excited !!!

I fly like paper, get high like planes

Just bought this ring on Friday... totally not needed, but I had to have it. I love quirky rings and this one is cool because it reminds me how much I love travel. I bought it at the Green Eyed Lady in Kennett Square, PA.


I think for now I am going to focus my blog on my vintage finds along with my everyday style. I still have plenty of vintage stuff to post but I don't want my blog to be too centered on one topic. So from now on it will be a mix of both.
