BLACK AND WHITE! Everything old is new again, then old again then new again, then... In 1966 Truman Capote famously threw his "Black and White Ball," the party to which everyone who was anyone wanted an invitation. Black and white dress, ONLY. To those that mattered and to whom it mattered it was simply EVERYTHING. Except for those who weren't invited. All of it captured in "TRUMAN CAPOTE: In Which Various Friends, Enemies, Acquaintences and Detractors Recall His Turbulent Career: by George Plimpton (one of the great journalist/sportswriters of the 20th century, but that's another story.)
This site originated as a blog all about vintage clothing hence the name, "Other People's Trash". It is now much more as I discuss matters of style and beauty as well. Stay stylish!
