There is Never a Wrong Time for Lolita Sunglasses

I don't care what anyone says, I will always love my Lolita-esque heart-shaped sunglasses. They are the right amount of kitsch for any look.

For this personal style post I am wearing a good deal of thrifted items, one being a new find from Friday. As for the color theme, black and white are forever chic in my heart. Red just adds the right amount of color, making this triad a favorite of mine.

As an accessory, a floppy hat can really protect your face from the sun's rays, a plus for my fair skin. Add some sunglasses, and you are beach ready. I am definitely going to be on the lookout for more floppy hats... perhaps they will replace my fedoras this summer?

Hat - Walmart (Believe it or not!)
Sunglasses - Couldn't tell you but you can find them anywhere
Shirt - Thrifted
Pants - Cynthia Rowley
Shoes - Vintage Keds from Goodwill online auction
Bag - My latest find from the Goodwill

I said something out loud when I say this bag, most likely, "OH MY GOD!"

I am slightly obsessed with strawberries. Actually, make that any fruit print.

A Bright Raincoat: Perfect for a Rainy Day

One of my favorite ways to brighten up a rainy day is with a bright raincoat. It is really surprising how many people love to see a something bright on a dreary day. These images were taken after Sunday brunch at Scratch Magoo's in Wilmington, Delaware. The building in the background is a vintage/antique home goods store called De Ja Vu. It is a perfect blend of my two favorite colors and an even better background for a not so lovely day weather-wise.

Coat - Vintage
Tee - Cynthia Rowley
Pants - Love Tree
Clutch - Target
Hat - Target
Shoes - Mix No. 6
Ring - Random jewelry store
Pin - Something my dad found at a yard sale

How to Dress for Sunday Brunch

Sunday brunch is one of my favorite events of the week. Since you get to sleep in there is no excuse to not look your best. I personally like to wear something that is comfortable yet unique. As for accessories, sunglasses are always important on a bright day, especially for those with a hangover. See my look below!

Shoes - Mix No. 6
Bag - Cynthia Rowley
Scarf- Raj
Watch - Fossil
Sunglasses - Steve Madden
Earrings - My Mom's
Coin Bracelet - Gift from my Dad

These were my Mom's earrings. Since it was Mother's Day this weekend I decided to wear something in memory of her. Aren't they beautiful?

I love my Cynthia Rowley bag. It is SO me from the color to the shape to the texture. It holds just the right amount of belongings making it an ideal bag for day or night. My coin bracelet was a fun gift from my Dad, apparently he purchased it from QVC which I always find funny yet loving because he was thinking of me.

I purchased these shoes at DSW last week and have worn them everyday since then. I have never been a strappy sandal girl but am slowly learning to love this trend. I also love anything gold so that is a huge plus for me.

Outfit of the Day: Casual and Coral for Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo weekend, love it! Clearly one of my favorite holidays as you can tell from my excitement. I kept it casual on Saturday with shorts and a chambray shirt. I am not much of a shorts girl but these are really comfortable, with a nice inseam. My days of daisy dukes are over as age 25 is coming up around the bend in a few months.

Sunglasses - Steve Madden
Shirt - Dalia Collection
Belt - Thrifted
Shorts - Earl Jeans
Shoes - Connie

This bag was purchased when I was studying abroad in Guadalajara, Mexico for about $15 U.S. dollars. This was incredibly shocking as the bag is real leather and has a great amount of detail to it.

This arm party was my Mexican tribute as many of the bracelets I am wearing are from various markets there. Mexico is a really great place to buy bracelets for this as they are super cheap and well made.

My B! This little gem was found by moi at a vintage jewelry store. I think it is one of the best feelings when you are thrifting and find something such as this, so personal.

Just Like SJP: My Favorite Vintage Purse for the Spring!

I am absolutely in love with this vintage purse for the spring! My slight obsession with Morocco led me to purchase it. It is a true conversation starter as purses like this are not very common in today's fast fashion market place.

I also find it to be incredibly similar to SJP's bag from the market scene in Sex and the City 2. I know the movie was not exactly Oscar material but I think the looks were fabulous.

Do you have any vintage purses? Tell me below!
