Instagram Recap - 2/15 ~ 2/22

If you aren't following me on Instagram, you probably should. It is my favorite app of all time and the one I use the most often. This last week has been frigid in Pennsylvania, hence old fuzzy head below.

I really love this headband. I got it at a thrift store for about $3.00 but it has this really expensive look to it. Valentine's Day was a snowy one for sure, a lot of people canceled their plans and stayed in which is exactly what we did.

Despite the snow on Saturday, I still had some people come out to shop my vintage collection on Sunday! We had a really good time, especially since one of my shoppers was an old friend- my college R.A. Tim!

Texture, texture, texture in this outfit. I used a black and white filter mostly because the entire outfit was just that: black and white. Black shoes and black opaque tights = my legs looking much longer than what they actually are, but a short girl has to try!

I was excited to receive this invite from Jie Lan of In the Eye Photography. Back in the summer I was featured on her blog as one of her subjects for the "People of Kennett Square". Her photographs from this project will be featured at Mala Galleria on March 6th in Kennett Square. An 11x16 of yours truly will be up for sale, in case anyone is looking to spruce up their walls! ;)

Sunday trippin' in my Jeep Wrangler. I never get to drive her much but when I do it takes me back to when I was 16 and first got my license.

How was your week?

Vintage Nostalgia: Rose.Rabbit.Lie at the Cosmopolitan

What is your idea of glamour? To me, it is the 1920s. Sequins, feathers, fur, and fun dominated a decade when women really let go of society's idea of a "lady". If you would like to feel like a flapper or Gatsby for an evening you should take a trip to Vegas and visit Rose.Rabbit.Lie at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas.

This club offers dining, drinking, and (burlesque) dancing; perfect for a girl's night out or a romantic evening for two.

I adjusted this challenge for my climate, our winter in Pennsylvania is much different than just about any season in Las Vegas. I paired this vintage fur with a sequin dress for some shimmer and a pop of color. The ankle strap pumps add texture to the whole look. It is all about the glamour.

Coat - Vintage Coat ℅ Baz Brothers Unlimited
Dress - Asos
Shoes - DSW

What would you wear for a vintage-inspired night on the town at Rose.Rabbit.Lie?

Stay stylish!
